About
This part of the internet is dedicated to my original characters within Final Fantasy XIV: Astraea, Evariste, Juliette, and Naius. These four characters reside within the world of Hydaelyn (The Source) and Etheirys. Instead of pairing them up with well known or beloved non-playable characters, I created them specifically for each other. Part canon, part derailed.

War is played by villains all looking for the highest body count, and last I checked, I'm surpassing all expectations. Oh, to be the final player on the board and angering the gods during this time of unrest.
I have become wholly undone. Do you know how often you find yourself at death’s door, Juliette? Because each time you knock, I beg for you to stay through our bond, to not cross over to the aetherial sea.
I will tell you this for the first and final time, Naius. You bring distaste upon my lips with your name and presence. It is with such displeasure and unfortunate circumstance that I find myself paired with you.
Should you ever find yourself agreeable, my everything, I am more than happy to relive this moment with you again. All you have to do is ask. But alas, it looks like we're needed to rejoin society once more.

Juliette & Evariste
The Morally Grey Couple
Juliette is Neutral Evil. She doesn't care if she breaks the rules of society. Morality is not involved in her decision making. As long as it fits her agenda, she will continue acting as she is.
Evariste is Chaotic Neutral. He finds joy in doing whatever calls to his soul, good and evil come second to his desire to be free.
Both parties work well together because they're abiding by their own whims and desires. at times, there are disagreements, but it isn't due to morality, rules, or tradition. the solution they seek may be similar but the route to get there is what sets them apart (and makes them fight).
They do not outright lay claim to one another romantically, but it is pretty much a given (seeing their actions). No one dares to get between whatever dynamic they do have.
Astraea & Naius
One Sided Enemies to Lovers
Astraea is Neutral Good. She strives to do whatever helps the general populace. her intentions are always pure and kind. as long as you do not work against her or harm her, she will always put others first.
Naius is Chaotic Good. He will do whatever he wants, with little regard to how others feel/react to it. however, he is benevolent and caring. operates outside of expectations, but does so while protecting others.
together, they tend to clash from time to time due to their differences in methodology. but they usually work well together outside of that.
Astraea does not give Naius the time of day. Naius will happily support her, despite having unrequited affections. They eventually do become a couple over time.
Juliette & Astraea
The Warriors of Light and Shadow
While Astraea and Juliette are not related by blood, they will call one another their sibling. together, they descended from the slums and are the warrior of light/darkness. and despite the differences in demeanor and alignment, they love one another and would burn the world for each other.
Because their alignments are different (after going down different paths over time), they don't ask what the other does, basically working on blind faith. ie: will only ask if the job is done or if a follow-up plan needs to be created.
astraea is considered the "face" of being the warrior of light. she makes all the social calls and appearances for their line of work.
juliette is the warrior of light who works within the shadows. no one knows who she is outside of the scions and people of importance.
both sisters have the echo gifted from hydaelyn. their relationship with her is quite different depending on who you ask. juliette wants nothing to do with hydaelyn and finds her an annoyance to work with, however she understands what is needed for the end goal. astraea on the other hand, has a great relationship with her (both on the source and the first) and they regularly keep in touch with one another.

The Scions
The Extended Found Family
astraea: friends with alphinaud, y'shtola, thancred, and krile. on good terms with g'raha tia but they don't get to hang out much.
juliette: friends with Alisaie, Estinien, Thancred, and Urianger. slight disdain for g'raha tia (holds grudges, did not like being sucked into the first).
the scions all are on good relations with the sisters. there is a sense of closeness depending on which circle it is.
Others
Evariste and Naius
evariste: generally has connections to the rogue's guild, black markets, and the inner circles in Ishgard. knows venat quite well. has met astraea a handful of times, but tends to stay away from her and the scions altogether (finds them annoying, so he does bare minimum).
naius: friends with hythlodaeus, hermes, emet-selch, and venat. has never met juliette (unable).
Epimetheus and Pandora die and are sundered. i have not considered where naius exactly fits in the present-day story. weird considering his present day name is naius lol. work in progress?
